The ART SERIES

The Art “Series” is a body of work of a subject or topic that I analyze and study deeper into its roots, one that is a very deep psychological and mental dialogue with myself and the subject.

It is a scientific, historical, and philosophical analysis that I elaborate upon and rework through the process, but by the end of the day, it is my logic, my knowledge, and instincts, that prevail the most for the final touches. It is my soul and my consciousness that is reserved for the last touch. The pieces of the series vary and can number in different quantities, with hundreds of sketches and studies, and they are usually related to each other by the material, subject, speed of work, and time frame, all of this many times restricted and postponed by various circumstances, finances, health, and life.

The child is the symbol of innocence, but also innocence betrayed. The blind predatory influences of modern media, the negative forces of war, and materialism assault the virtue of the children. The children are our responsibility. They are all children of God.
